Alligator Trap

Today there was a gator out toward the middle of the lake right in front of our apartment. We happened to be walking Bridget when the St. Tammany Sheriff came to trap him. They relocate the alligators they find around our apartment back in the marsh where they belong.
The sheriff trying to hook him.
Scott keeping an eye on the proceedings.
He moved to the point, where they were able to hook him the first time.
The line broke and they lost him for a few minutes, but then they hooked him a second time closer to the dock.
The sheriff asked Scott to help reel him in while he got ready to rope him.
Hauling him up on shore. The sheriff kept his foot on the gator's head.
We had heard he was four feet but he looks more like six...
Here he's getting perturbed...
He tried to avoid the tube, but the sheriff picked him up by his skinny little arms and threw him in.
