Mrs. Taylor sold the new jet that Scott took delivery on a couple weeks ago to Valero, an oil refinery company in San Antonio, TX. In the two weeks Scott was in Savannah, he got to know the people at Valero and they offered him a job, which we accepted. Mrs. Taylor is in the process of eliminating the aviation department: the helicopters are sold and the remaining two aircraft are on the market. We had planned to ride it out as long as it lasted as we have had a great time down here and didn't want it to end, but the opportunity with Valero is something we couldn't pass up. Renee is currently trying to transfer with Progressive to the San Antonio office. Even though the adventure down here lasted only a little over a year, we have absolutely no regrets and would do it all over again in an instant. We have met some great people and have had some amazing experiences that we wouldn't trade for anything. And San Antonio will just be a continuation of this adventure.
The front desk at the Valero hanger. Scott took all of these pictures on his phone so they aren't that great, but you get the idea...
