Quick Update

Scott returned yesterday from Jacksonville with his MEI (certified flight instructor, multi engine) rating, so the past two weeks were a success! He ran out of time to get check rides on his single engine and instrument instructor ratings but is planning on finishing them up before the end of the summer (hopefully...scheduling examiners seems to always be a challenge). While he was gone, Bridget got extremely sick for a couple of days and was vomiting everything up, including water. Once we got past that, she felt well enough to continue to eat any crickets, roaches, or decomposed birds she found along her way. (Question: Can your hands ever get clean enough after pulling pieces of dead bird from halfway down your dog's throat while she gags and bites you? Answer: No. No they cannot.). So we're glad to have Scott back, he's really missed out :-)
