A couple of Scott's friends from Lincoln happened to both be in Dallas for different reasons this past week so they took the opportunity to take a road trip down to San Antonio to visit Scott. They crammed a lot of activities into two days...Renee just tried to stay out of their way!
They started the weekend with a tour of Scott's work. (Cody was the photographer, notice his pictures were very artistic!)

After that they visited the Alamo...
Saturday afternoon they flew to Mustang Beach for some seafood.

Sunday morning they went to the river walk before it got too hot. We've tried to go a couple times (the day after Thanksgiving when they turn on all the Christmas lights and New Year's Eve) but it was so busy both times we bailed.

We then drove through McAlister Park so amidst all the aviation talk Dana got to enjoy some deer sightings.
Sunday for dinner we all drove to Cooper's in Llano. From there Dana and Cody went back to Dallas and we went back home.
It was a ton of food, but they were troopers...

How wonderful to see Lincoln friends down south. We're trying to order some cooler weather while you're here in 2 weeks. Can't wait!
