Quick Update
Scott is in Savannah, GA for a month and Renee is going out over Labor Day weekend to see him. Consequently, not much has been going on. It has rained every day the past week so other than quick walks in the park with Bridget, it's too muddy to do much. Today though, as Renee and Bridget were driving out of the park, Renee looked over and saw a porcupine on one of the trails. He wasn't all puffed up, the quills appeared to be laying flat so it may not have been a porcupine but he definitely had quills so what else could he have been? Bridget had a behavioral interview all day last Wednesday at Camp Bow Wow, which she passed with flying colors. She even received a certificate with her picture on it signed by the head counselor or camp president or whatever. So she will be among the campers there enjoying the long Labor Day weekend.

The Beagle
On our walk today we met a near mirror image of Bridget, although it was hard to get a good picture because immediately they tangled up their harnesses and had to be sorted out.
Also today, it was just a matter of time...Renee's right pedal hit a tree while on a trail and she went over the handle bars and fell off her bike. She landed on her hands and knees with her rear wheel straight up in the air. Luckily, she landed on the grass and didn't get hardly a scratch. The bike is also doing fine.

Bike Riding
Yesterday morning we went bike riding and saw that people were shooting a movie or commercial by the dog park. They were still there last night when we took Bridget, so we got a picture. They were shooting in front of a green screen in the middle of a field and were wearing robes like those on Star Wars. In the scene we saw they had light sabers and were sword fighting.
This morning we took the 6.33 mile dirt trail that weaves around the park. This hill doesn't look like much in the picture but it was really steep and rocky, with rock ledges you have to go over at the top. The trail winds through the woods and is mostly shaded, which is nice since it's about 100 degrees!
